Christine's Family - NEWS! PDF Print

          Andrewses … Rolleses … Gibsons ... and also Wilsons

                        (AND NOW WADES) ,

especially after -

    Christine had found connections in Stamford with the Wilsons (her paternal grandma's family); quite by chance we parked outside the house (click to see in Gallery) where her great grandfather had been recorded as a boot boy in the 1871 census - so more to follow up on this, which we are in the process of doing via books lent us by Mrs Ivy Price of Barrowden -

Minolettis from Cannero to England PDF Print

An Attempt at History

It seems very clear that my grandfather, Luigi Minoletti, was born in Cannero, and a now-deceased aunt (Margery, one of his children), when visiting Cannero (before the 1939-45 War), had established contact with at least one cousin who acknowledged this relationship, although attempts there to make any clear connections on holidays there recently seem to meet a polite brick wall. It is therefore hard to guess at which generation the “English Minolettis” are connected to the “Cannero Minolettis”, so I have started the family tree, which you can see via the "Read more..." button below with two hypothetical generations, no doubt going back into the early 19th Century.
